A Beaverton woman is planning a legal fight against a Washington state casino that, she says, cheated her out of an $8.5 million jackpot.
In interviews with KOIN and KGW, Veronica Castillo said she went to Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel on Monday and played about $100 on Jurassic Riches. That's where she saw her winnings grow upwards of $8.5 million.

'I was very excited, happy,' she told KOIN 6 News. 'Then I couldn't believe it.'
Casino staff said the machine malfunctioned. She actually won about $80.
'To me that's deceiving; it's cheating; it might even be fraudulent,' Castillo told KOIN.
So, she got a lawyer.
'If it needs to go to trial, then we'll go to trial,' Castillo told the Oregonian/OregonLive, adding that she would not be commenting further at the advice of her legal counsel.
Casino Won't Pay 8.5 Million
Lucky Eagle is in Rochester, about 100 miles north of Portland, and is run by the Chehalis Tribe. The casino maintains that the machine did malfunction. The game should have never exceeded its maximum $20,000 jackpot, according to a news release from the casino.
'Our investigation determined that the machine was in the process of metering down,' the news release stated.
While some casino games on tribal lands are regulated by the Washington State Gambling Commission, Jurassic Riches -- a bingo-type game -- is not one of them. Agency spokeswoman Susan Newer said an agent assigned to the casino reported that the game had acted 'odd' before 'spinning backwards.'
